General

What does SHARK do?

SHARK provides Printing & Copy Services, Large Format & Display, Signage & Branding, Scale Model Making, 3D Printing & Prototyping, Laser Cutting & Engraving, Personalized Gifts & Promotional Items, and Design & Business Solutions.

Do I need an appointment?

For normal shop visits, no appointment is required during opening hours. For architectural models, signage, larger commercial work or projects that need technical review, contacting us in advance is recommended.

Quotes & Ordering

How do I request a quotation?

Use the Request a Quote form, Upload File page, WhatsApp, email or visit the shop. For an accurate quotation, include the final dimensions, quantity, intended use, material or paper if known, finishing requirements and deadline.

Can I order directly online?

Online checkout is temporarily disabled while stock verification and checkout configuration are being completed. Products shown are catalogue items, but current availability should be confirmed with SHARK before ordering. Custom production work is reviewed and quoted before production.

Do custom projects require a deposit?

Custom production requires prepayment before work begins. Depending on the job, the quotation will state whether a deposit or full payment is required. Standard retail supplies may be available for cash on delivery when confirmed with the order.

Files

What files do you accept for printing?

PDF is preferred where practical. We can also review AI, EPS, PSD, JPG, PNG and TIFF files. Resolution and scale should suit the final output size and viewing distance.

What files do you accept for 3D printing?

The standard website upload form accepts STL, OBJ, STEP/STP, IGES/IGS and 3MF files up to 10 MB. Larger files can be shared through a downloadable link. The interactive SHARK STL Studio accepts STL files up to 25 MB for viewing, resizing, automatic pricing and model submission.

What files do you accept for laser cutting and engraving?

Vector files such as DXF, DWG, SVG, AI, EPS and vector PDF are preferred. Convert fonts to outlines and clearly distinguish cutting, scoring and engraving operations.

What is the current website upload limit?

The standard Request a Quote and Upload File forms accept files up to 10 MB. Larger jobs can be shared through a downloadable Google Drive, WeTransfer or Dropbox link. The SHARK STL Studio has a separate 25 MB limit for STL files.

Production

What materials do you use for 3D printing?

Our current website offering focuses on FDM 3D printing. Material selection depends on the part, strength, appearance and intended use; available filament options are confirmed during review.

Can you produce architectural scale models?

Yes. Scale model making is a core SHARK service, including architectural, presentation, exhibition and custom models. Detail level, scale, lighting, base, cover and transport requirements are reviewed for each project.

What materials can be laser processed?

Compatibility depends on the exact material composition and thickness. Acrylic, selected wood-based sheets, cardboard, paper and other suitable materials can be reviewed. Unknown or unsafe materials are not processed without verification.

How long does production take?

Timing depends on the service, complexity, quantity, file quality, finishing, material availability and current workload. We confirm the expected production schedule after reviewing the complete job.

Can you handle urgent work?

Rush production may be possible for some services, depending on workload, material availability and the condition of the supplied files. Contact us before relying on an urgent deadline.

Delivery & Collection

Do you deliver in Lebanon?

Yes. Delivery can be arranged across Lebanon. Charges and timing depend on the destination, package size and project type and are confirmed before dispatch.

Can you ship internationally?

International delivery can be considered for selected products, scale models and custom projects. Packaging, carrier options, customs requirements and cost are confirmed case by case.

How will I know my order is ready?

We can notify you by phone, WhatsApp or email when production is complete and collection or delivery can be arranged.

Returns & Problems

Can a customized product be returned?

Customized and made-to-order products are generally not returnable for change of mind because they are produced specifically for the customer. If there is a production defect or an error attributable to SHARK, contact us promptly so the issue can be reviewed.

What should I do if there is a problem?

Contact us as soon as possible with the order details and clear photographs of the issue. The appropriate remedy depends on the product, fault and circumstances and follows the applicable Delivery & Returns and Refund & Returns policies.
