Service 06 · Laser Cutting & Engraving

Laser Cutting & Engraving

Precision cutting and engraving for compatible acrylic, wood, leather and cardboard, plus glass-surface engraving where suitable—used for displays, models, signs, components and custom products.

Material testing and clean vector files matter.

Laser results vary with material composition, thickness, surface and artwork. We confirm compatibility before production and may recommend a sample test.

✓ Acrylic cutting
✓ Wood cutting
✓ Engraved text and graphics
✓ Custom flat fabrication parts

Complete service range

Accurate parts and surface detail from digital artwork.

Send a vector file with dimensions, material and thickness. Clearly distinguish cut lines, score lines and engraved areas when the project uses more than one operation.

01

Acrylic Cutting

Precision-cut acrylic shapes, panels, letters, display components, model parts and decorative elements. Material type, thickness, edge expectations, minimum features and protective masking are reviewed before production.

02

Wood Cutting

Laser-cut wood and wood-based sheet components for models, signs, crafts, patterns, prototypes and decorative assemblies. Suitability depends on the exact sheet type, thickness, adhesives and desired edge appearance.

03

Text, logos, patterns, numbering and surface graphics engraved or marked on compatible materials. Artwork detail, contrast, depth, position and the natural response of the material affect the final appearance.

04

Custom Fabrication Parts

Flat custom components, templates, spacers, panels and assembly pieces produced from approved digital geometry. Fits, slots, kerf allowance, repeated parts and assembly method should be defined in the brief.

Upload & Produce

A clear approval process keeps the brief, specification and finished result aligned.

STEP 01

Brief

Send the file, dimensions, quantity, intended use and deadline.

STEP 02

Review

We check the artwork, materials and technical production requirements.

STEP 03

Quote

We confirm the specification and provide a quotation for approval.

STEP 04

Produce

After approval, we produce, finish and prepare the order for collection or delivery.

Vector artwork

Prepare each operation clearly.

Vector AI, EPS, SVG, DXF or print-ready PDF files are generally preferred. Use closed paths, remove duplicate lines and label cutting, scoring and engraving operations.

✓ Final dimensions and units
✓ Material name and thickness
✓ Closed vector paths with no duplicates
✓ Operations separated and clearly labelled

Request a laser cutting & engraving quote

Attach the vector artwork, drawing, reference image or brief. We review material compatibility, thickness, cut/engrave operations, quantity and finishing before confirming the final quotation and production schedule. Response timing depends on project complexity and file readiness.

A confirmation is sent to your email after submission. Project response time depends on the file, specifications and project complexity.

    Frequently asked questions

Useful details for planning and submitting this type of project.

Which materials can be laser processed?

Compatibility depends on the exact material composition and thickness. Send the material specification or a sample; unknown or unsafe materials will not be processed.

Can you cut directly from a photograph?

Photographs may be suitable for certain engraving applications, but cutting paths normally require vector artwork. We review the file and explain any preparation needed.

Why might a sample test be needed?

Colour, adhesives, coatings, density and thickness can change the edge, contrast and surface response. A test helps confirm settings and appearance before the full job.

    What affects cutting accuracy?

Material consistency, thickness, heat response, kerf, geometry and part layout all influence the result. Critical fits and tolerances should be identified before production.

Cut, mark or engrave the next component

Send the vector file and material details.

We will check compatibility, geometry and required operations before confirming the production scope.
